Officially declared by experts to have unique value, the folklore private museum welcomes visitors for 40 years. The owner, due to his age and disease, would like to sell this invaluable collection, who would buy both the collection and the real estate and would continue to operate it as a museum. He would help the owner-to-be with all his knowledge regarding the objects, and would support with the owner-to-be's efforts concerning the folklore material's future if it is required. The good facilities of the family house and the museum enables to pursue entrepreneurship in tourism. On the groundfloor of the family house the rooms are furnished with foklore items exclusively; for example, with painted and carved furniture, carpets, embroideries, homespuns -- all are still used by the owner. The still-operating cobald-blue beehive stove is a gem of the floor. In the botanic-like garden, there are 18 different species of pines, as well as cedars, thujas, myrtle bush, mediterran bushes and a 40-year-old Hungarian oak. The garden has been awarded the "the most beautiful garden in 2005" a special award. In addition, there are about 40 mostly life-sized artistic carvings, and a good few works that summon the Hungarian history's important events as memorial place. The 90 sqm living space in the second floor (attic) there is one room + 3 halfrooms, kitchen, bathroom, toilet, larder, anteroom and two terraces. These rooms are all furnished with furniture, the rooms (on all floors) are parquetted. Further photos: |
